Very early pair of wrought iron bifurcated hinges, called cross-garnet style by Albert Sonn in his book Early American Wrought Iron published in 1928 and re-printed many times after.  Hinges are likely Pennsylvania in original with each side fully bifurcated.  These hinges measure 16 1/2" and 15 1/4" across respectively x 13" across the open spread.  Wrapped hinge in center is 1 3/4" across.  An unusual and well formed pair of early hinges.
