Early wrought iron coil spring pull style door bell from circa 1840.  This type of door bell had the bell pull usually mounted on the door jamb with the mortise bell crank directly across from it on the inside of the jamb adjoined by wire.  Various bell cranks were used to change the direction of the wire to allow the bell to be mounted anywhere in the house.  Complete and restored with all mounting components including various side and front cranks as well as the mortise bell crank, a center mount notched bolt for the coil spring, and check the spring as shown in photos below.   The bell pull is white porcelain, 2" diameter.  The bell housing is 10 1/2" high overall with the brass bell measuring 2 1/4" high x 2 1/4"| opening on bottom.  The wrought iron coil measures almost 5 1/4" diameter across.  Photos below show coil with brass bell, the porcelain pull, and all necessary parts to string this type of early door bell.  The choice of wire is left up to installer.  Bell has a nice ringing tone easily heard throughout the house.
