 Wrought iron hasp measuring 13 1/4" deep x 1 5/8" at widest and is reversible.  Accompanied by two wrought iron staples.  Accompanied by the U staple which mounts through the slot as well as the staple for the back mount hole.  Nice end curl used as the pull measures about 1 5/8" extension.  This type of latch was used for many applications during the 18th and 19th century wherever a door needed a one sided catch with a spike/stick or to be secured with a padlock.  For the most part they were used in exterior applications and show surface pitting from weather and age as this one does.  Not restored, in original patina and aged surface.

A circa 1870's surface mount rim style keyed security dead bolt, marked BLW (Branford Lock Works) and measuring 5 1/2" high x 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" without the keeper.  Keeper is additional 1 1/4" wide.  The backset is 2 1/4" and takes a thin flat key.  The bolt is 1 3/4" high and extends 3/4".   Bolt is reversible and can be mounted as left or right hand.  The accompanying key escutcheon measures 2 5/8" x 1 5/8".  Restored and complete with mounting screws.

Wrought iron hasp catch with a pivot drop hook.  Hasp measures 12 3/4" deep x 1" wide overall and is right hand only - not reversible.  The drop hook is 4" with a 2" drop.  Accompanied by the U staple which mounts through the slot for the hook to drop into securing a door.  Nice end curl used as the pull measures about 1 3/8" extension.  This type of latch was used for many applications during the 18th and 19th century wherever a door needed a one sided catch.  For the most part they were used in exterior applications and show surface pitting from weather and age as this one does.

Antique Victorian chain bolt, surface mount, in decorative cast iron, manufactured circa 1890.  Bolt measures 5 5/8" high x 1 3/4" across widest point at mount holes x 1/2" thick.  This type of bolt was used on the top of the door and has the chain that was used to allow access to the bolt on tall doors without excessive reaching.  The keeper measures 1" additional x 2" across.  Bolt extends 1/2".  Chain is about 18".  Restored and complete with slotted mounting screws.

Antique Victorian chain bolt, surface mount, in decorative cast iron, manufactured circa 1890.  Bolt measures 9 1/8" high x 2 5/8" across widest point of mount holes (1 1/2" in center between mounts).  This type of bolt was used on the top of the door and has the chain that was used to allow access to the bolt on tall doors without excessive reaching.  The keeper measures 1 1/4" additional x 2 3/4" across.  Bolt extends 9/16".  Chain is about 24".  Restored and complete with slotted mounting screws.
