Cast iron early vertical rim lock which mounts on the surface of the door, manufactured by Branford Lock Works with their BLW logo shown on both sides of the lock, circa 1870.  This highly decorative lock measures 4 1/4" high x 3 1/2" without the jamb keeper which is an additional 1".  Lock is reversible and complete with original white porcelain door knobs.  The night latch on the top of the lock allows the knobs to be locked for privacy without using the keyed deadbolt.  Lock is accompanied with all original cast iron parts - rosette, irregular edge key escutcheon, and one key.  Shown as left hand above and right hand below.  Ready to install - complete with slotted screws.  We will hand your lock as needed upon request - please include information in the Comments Section.  Lock backset is 2 1/2".
