Circa 1800 wrought iron entry rim lock with original brass knobs and trim.  Lock measures 8" deep x 4 3/4" high x 1" without the keeper and is non-reversible, left hand only.  Original keeper measures 1 5/8" additional width with narrow brass edge trim.  Lock is restored and complete with early original brass knobs 2" in diameter - oval key escutcheon is 2" x 1 5/8" - original brass rosette.  This lock is in excellent condition with fine quality works - back view below right.  Lock offers a slide privacy bolt in addition to the keyed deadbolt.  The slide privacy bolt is operated by the brass finger slide seen on the bottom edge of the lock in center photo below.  The knobs are presently spaced for a 1 3/4" door but we will modify to fit your exact door thickness - please give this information in the Comments Section when ordering.  Backset is 6 1/4" to knob center and 3 1/2" to keyway center.  Restored to black finish and complete with slotted screws.  A well-made high quality Period rim lock.
