THIS PAGE CONTAINS A RARE FIND OF UNUSUAL LARGER SIZED (4 1/2" HIGH X 6 1/2" DEEP) AMERICAN MADE DUTCH ELBOW LOCKS WITH UNIQUE FINISHED EDGES, ALL FROM THE SAME HOUSE MATCHING IN SIZE AND APPEARANCE.  SIX LOCKS ARE FOR INTERIOR DOORS AND FOUR ARE FOR EXTERIOR DOORS.  ALL VERY WELL MADE, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, AND RESTORED.

American made German style Dutch Elbow Lock for interior use, circa 1820, in larger than normal size.  Levers are deep spoon style and the off-side has spoon handle (shown in mounted position below) with a round rosette - handle mounts through the door and lock and is secured on the inside with a decorative nut on the end of the handle.  Lock body measures 4 1/2" high x 6 1/2" deep x 7/8".  This type of lock is not reversible and is right hand only (scroll down for matching left hand locks) and will fit a door up to 1 1/2" thick max without modification.  A slide privacy bolt is operated by the finger slide seen on the bottom edge of the lock body.  Lock is in excellent condition with finely made with unusual finished edges shown in phoito below.  Backset is 2 3/4".   Restored to black finish and complete.  Comes with mounting screws.
