An early square cornered Pennsylvania German or Dutch Elbow Latch for exterior or interior use with a keyed dead bolt, circa 1840.  Original levers are deep spoon style and the off-side spoon handle offers a separate round rosette and oval key escutcheon (2 1/2" x 1 1/2") replacements made in our shop shown below right.  Lock body measures 5 3/4" x 4 1/8".  This type of lock is not reversible and is left hand only and will fit a door up to 1 3/8" thick without modification which can be requested.  Original keeper measures 4 1/4" x 1".  Lock is in excellent condition - restored, and complete in black finish - comes with slotted mounting screws.
