Large early American wrought iron rim lock, circa 1820, with original brass narrow-neck knobs.  Lock body measures 6 1/4" x 4" x 1" without the keeper which is our own hand made replacement with brass trim measuring additional 1 1/4".  Lock is non-reversible, right hand only.  Lock is restored, in excellent condition, and complete with early original brass knobs measuring 1 5/8" diameter.  Complete with replacement brass rosette, original iron key and original brass key escutcheon (2" x 1 1/2").  Photo below right shows the lock's quality mechanism from the back.   Knobs are currently spaced to fit a 1 3/4" door, but we will modify to customer's door thickness upon request in the Comment Section when ordering.  Comes complete with screws.
