Payson patented cast iron sash locks, manufactured late 1870's with a patent date on the back of 1876 by the Payson Mfg. Co. in Chicago.  Lock shown in locked position above and unlocked below left.  When lowered into the locked position, the lower sash cannot be raised.  Lock base measures 2 1/4" x 1" without the keeper which measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/8" deep.  Restored and in nice working condition.  Comes with slotted mounting screws.

A turn arm style window or sash lock in decorative cast iron, with patent dates on the bottom of Dec. 27, '87.  The lock secures the window by turning the mechanism catch into the keeper.  Lock base measures 2 3/8" x 1 1/8" while keeper measures 2 1/8" x  9/16" wide.  Restored, complete, and ready to install.

Swing arm style sash locks with a patent date imprinted of  Dec. 27, 1887, in plain cast iron.  Lock bases measure 2 1/4" wide x 1 3/8" deep without the keeper which takes 2 1/4" x 3/4" to mount.  The arm moves the swing catch into the keeper to lock and out of the keeper to unlock the sash.  Restored and complete - comes with slotted wood screws.

Interior shutter catches, manufactured circa 1900, in cast iron with original brass plated finish.  These latches were originally made as the catch for interior shutters, but can be adapted for use as a catch on any flush doors.  When in closed position (shown above) catch measures about 1 3/4" high x 2 1/2" across overall.  Shown below unlatched.  Each back member measures 1 3/4" high x 1" and the arm extends about 2 1/2".  Arm is detached from back member and is secured by mount screw through both pieces at once.  These latches in original finish show some tarnish and age marks.

Wrought  iron exterior shutter slide bolt from the early to mid 19th century.  The bolt side measures 6 3/4" x 2 1/4" while the keeper is additional 4" x 2 1/4".  The bolt itself is thrown via the iron finger slide - throw is 2 1/2".  Restored to black finish and complete with mounting screws.
